Praxima® SL-PDT allows an efficient local PDT treatment of defined, localized, hypertrophic lesions which could not always be treated successfully with conventional PDT. The SL-PDT method can be used alone or synchronous in combination with conventional PDT treatments.
Praxima® SL-PDT offers a simple and for patients a less exhausting treatment. It also provides an alternative for patients who cannot or should not be treated with conventional PDT (e.g. elderly patients/persons with anticoagulant medication).
